I ALWAYS look for the bargain, but that doesn't mean "the cheapest". Sometimes "the bargain" is spending more for a well built, reliable product.

I first bought a lower voltage and wattage primarily for my cpap when going for camping it was not design so i had to return and get This one instead and woah its not only for My Cpap but More to gadgets and i was very happy i got this.

I have been using this battery pack for a while and the only regrets is that I did not get it much sooner. I am extremely happy with this product and look forward to getting more items from Jackery.

Love this device. Rock solid with a 2 year warranty and they extend it for another year if you register it online. Light for it size. The new version comes with an MPPT charge controller instead of the old tech PWM. Be sure and get the version 2. The way to tell them apart is the logo on the front adjacent the display button. You want the one that states 'Jackery' and underneath 'Explorer 500'. Why didn't I give it a 5 out of 5. The two DC output plugs adjacent the cigarette port are very difficult to source. I have found them on amazon believe it or not. In amazon search: Goal Zero 6mm Output Female Cigarette Adapter, 12V DC Output, Model 98056. These fit perfectly. You can modify these with anderson connectors etc to make them more usable, or just leave the female cigarette adapter. The other issue with this unit is the rate of charging. I suspect that jackery will be resolving this issue on subsequent iterations of this device.

Have been using the 250w for 5 months and 500w for 2 months. They have been for the most part workhorses but I sense the 250w is beginning to dwindle in power (overall).. There are two flaws I have encountered thus far. 1. When running my cooler at times the unit(s) will shut off...typically at night when i am not watching. The cooler needs a constant draw of power so I not only am confused by this but it ain't good for my food. 2. Sometimes I have plugged in the 500w to my solar charger and it won't acknowledge being plugged in. I have to re-plug it in, sometimes more than once. Note this isn't an issue with the 250w so to my mind it isn't the solar panel. A glitch in the 500w. Improvement: I would like two plug-ins. Found myself wanting on that.
